WWE Friday Night SmackDown Ratings Drop AGAIN
Another week, another ratings drop.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX's ratings have dropped yet again this week, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week's episode of the blue show drew an average of 2.014 million viewers, which was a drop of 7.9% from the previous week's edition.
Also, the second hour of the show fell below 2 million (to 1.978) and this was therefore the lowest second hour in the show's FOX history, aside from the one week the show aired on FS1.
It appears that Triple H's XXV anniversary celebration wasn't enough to boost a rating for SmackDown. Elsewhere on the show, 'King' Corbin and Lacey Evans qualified for the Money in the Bank men's and women's ladder matches, respectively. Former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison also notably suffered a surprise loss to The Lucha House Party.
Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon then made surprise appearances at the end of the show, along with a whole host of 'The Game's old buddies via facetime.
SmackDown also scored a 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic and eventually came seventh in terms of overall viewership on the evening, too.
Will SmackDown be able to halt this ratings slide in the coming weeks?
