WWE legend Kurt Angle showered Charlotte Flair with praise during a recent Q&A edition of his podcast.

A fan asked Kurt to name some of the best female wrestlers from history, and Angle instantly reached for Charlotte. The Hall Of Famer then went on to describe Flair as "one of the absolute best wrestlers in the whole entire world, male or female - that's how good she is".

Historically, Kurt thinks Trish Stratus, Lita, Mickie James, Gail Kim deserve to be mentioned as true greats. In 2021 though, he thinks it's all about Charlotte (Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch also got a look in).

This is high praise indeed.

Angle said that women like Flair are "actually better than a lot of the guys". He has no time for splitting men and women into different brackets either; to the technical wrestling icon, it's important to group everyone into the same "best" category.

So, in his opinion, Charlotte is right up there with any top wrestler in the world today. Gender doesn't really come into it for the ex-Olympian. Flair is one of the "absolute best", he says.
