WWE RAW 3/18/2013: 5 Things We Learned

1. The Rock and John Cena Rematch Starts To Feel Unimportant

WWE made an attempt to keep the WWE Title match in focus this week with John Cena opening the RAW program, but it was a failed attempt at best. With The Rock in Europe promoting the opening of G.I Joe: Retaliation, it was as if Creative tossed a hail mary in order to keep their headlining act in the forefront this week; what they should have done was, at the very least, have The Rock "bring it" via satellite or taped promo. The John Cena / Rock rematch does not feel important at this stage of the Wrestlemania build, and this is very troubling. What should be the marquee match-up is instead coming across as an afterthought due to The Rock's movie promotion schedule and the way WWE is handling his absence. There is no excuse as to why the main eventers of this year's Wrestlemania should not appear on every RAW program in the few weeks leading into the big event, and their absence speaks volumes about how WWE on the whole is fumbling nearly the entire Wrestlemania setup as we are just under 3 weeks out from The GrandDaddy of Them All. Let's discuss the sputtering machine that is The Road to Wrestlemania! On Twitter: @davyshrader
