WWE RAW 5/20/2013: 5 Things We Learned

2. A New Paul Heyman Guy Is Unveiled

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-pZ_rN7M7M All day long Monday across social media Paul Heyman teased that he would unveil a new member of his "stable" of performers under his employ on RAW. Rumors ran rampant that we would see Rob Van Dam or some other former ECW / Paul Heyman Guy be revealed, but alas the big moment failed to really deliver. Instead we were treated to Curt Axel. Formerly known as Mike McGilllicuty and part of WWE's NXT program several years ago, Axel is a 3rd generation wrestling superstar, being that he is the son of the late, great Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig. I'm not sure this qualifies enough not only to make him the next "Heyman Guy", but also to even necessitate a RAW closing match with Triple H in order to try and get over. Time will tell if Curt Axel will deliver, and let's keep in mind both Lesnar and even The Undertaker started out with Paul Heyman as relative nobodies.
