WWE Smackdown Spoilers 01/10/2011 - Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes in Street Fight

Friday Night Smackdown Tapings from Greenville, SC: 1) Randy Orton defeated IC Champion Cody Rhodes in a Non-title Street Fight Said to be an awesome contest and easily the best match of the night that went all the way through the crowd. Orton won with after a hanging DDT off the barricade to the floor on the outside and then an RKO inside the ring. Orton bagged Rhodes post-match. 2) Ted DiBiase defeated Tyson Kidd World Champion Mark Henry was interviewed backstage and trashed talked Daniel Bryan over his Money In The Bank/Wrestlemania dreams. He challenged Bryan to a non-title match tonight and Bryan accepted. 3) Alicia Fox defeated Natalya Natalya is the victim of week female division and as she is the second major heel behind Beth Phoenix, she is sadly being jobbed out to every female babyface as an attempt to get them over as genuine contenders to Phoenix. In the long term, doesn't actually do a lot for Natalya. Big Show comes to the ring and is still pissed he hasn't got his rematch against Mark Henry for the World Title. He says he will knock out Mark Henry every week on SmackDown when their business remains unfinished. Christian comes out and says Show missed his chance for the title. Christian insults the South (Show originates from Aiken, SC). Show chokeslams him and leaves the ring. 4) Sheamus vs Wade Barrett goes to no contest Sheamus was supposed to face Christian but with him out cold, Wade Barrett volunteered as his replacement. They brawl backstage and then Christian gets involved and the match is ruled no contest (double count out). Security separates Show and Christian/Barrett. Backstage Big Show advices Bryan to take special care of his briefcase that he is carrying, hinting that she should cash it in tonight, especially as Show will be in his corner against Mark Henry. 5) Sin Cara defeated Epico (debuting from WWE developmental) Botched finish. Hunico (Sin Cara Negro) interfered in the match and Epico doubled team Sin Cara. They tried a double team move but messed it up and re-recorded it again for TV editing. 6) World Champion Mark Henry defeated Daniel Bryan by DQ in a non-title match. Big Show interfered and did what he said... knocked out Henry. Bryan debated on cashing in his title but by the time he makes up his mind, Henry knocks him and locks him into the World's Strongest Slam. Henry then nailed Big Show with the briefcase. Bryan doesn't get to cash in tonight but I like what they are doing with building to it. Post-match, Teddy Long came out and booked Mark Henry vs. Big Show World Title re-match at Survivor Series. Show ends with the two giants staring each down.
