WWE Smackdown was filmed this week from Providence, Rhode Island. Seth Rollins got things started with a promo about his match with Orton at Extreme Rules. Kane then came out and continued to trade hostile words with Rollins. He said that it was time to return the favour of laying down for him. A ref came out and the match started. Rollins was angry at first but eventually went down to be pinned. However, Kane laughed and said he was just messing with him. It was ruled a no contest. Instead, Kane announced Rollins versus Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe made his entrance but was attacked by Luke Harper. Reigns made the save, which set up the main event for later in the show - Reigns and Ambrose versus Harper and Rollins. Dolph Ziggler and Neville defeated Sheamus and Bad News Barrett. Ziggler used the Zig Zag and then Neville hit the beautiful Red Arrow on BNB for the pin. Naomi pinned Natalya. Ryback got the victory over Rusev via DQ. The finish was Rusev decking the big guy with the russian chain. No John Cena at the show tonight. Kofi Kingston defeated Cesaro in one minute. Poor Cesaro. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose beat Seth Rollins and Luke Harper. Reigns was said to be really over. He speared Rollins for the clean 1-2-3.
