Recent weeks have been full of speculation that WWE are set to announce their decision to move NXT onto Network television to compete with AEW's upcoming weekly show on Wednesday nights - and it looks like Vince McMahon and co. could be set to do this tonight.

This is according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, who notes in today's Figure Four Online Daily Update that WWE plan on making it official during today's episode of Monday Night Raw. This might not be the only big news story that breaks tonight, however, as Meltzer also writes that there is "one more significant bit of news" to be announced on the show as well.

Perhaps surprisingly, it's expected that NXT will air on the USA Network rather than Fox Sports 1, with Fox broadcasting SmackDown from 4 October onwards. WrestleVotes have reported the taped developmental brand is in for some changes, too:-

The Fox/USA issue aside, none of this should come as a major surprise. Regardless, this is a huge, game-changing move for WWE's developmental brand, and could mean wholesale changes to the way the show is written, produced, and presented.
