WWE's Humberto is set to be given his full name back.

This is according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with this development coming in the wake of Humberto's Los Lotharios tag partner Angel revealing on Twitter recently that he had gotten his last name of Garza back.

In what became one of the more bizarre habits of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in the latter stages of his time in the creative seat, many a wrestler performing within his company would find themselves quickly having their in-ring names sliced in half. The likes of Mustafa Ali, Austin Theory, Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, and Shotzi Blackheart all suffered this strange fate under McMahon's watch, but it seems as though new head of creative Triple H has already set about undoing some of these weird moniker adjustments.

And as Meltzer would note in The Observer, "Some of the weird name quirks may be changing. The belief is Humberto will get Carrillo back as well."

With it also being said that The Game has already held conversations with the likes of Doudrop regarding a name change in the coming months, the time of oddly halved or completely rejigged wrestling names may be finally coming to an end in WWE.
