WWE's Sasha Banks Doesn't Know Why There Hasn't Been An Evolution 2

WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks doesn't understand why there hasn't been another all-women's Evolution PPV.

Whilst speaking to Digital Spy, Banks spoke about a number of different topics, ranging from her recent Hell in a Cell experience to her favourite opponent. However, the biggest takeaway from her interview was the star's confusion at a lack of follow-up to the landmark Evolution PPV which went down in 2018.

In Banks own words:

"(Evolution) is something I absolutely want to happen again. It’s just something that I think was so incredible for the women and for the fans that I don’t understand why there hasn’t been a second one yet. But it definitely can happen in the future and whenever it does happen I think it will be better than the first."

At said event, Banks was involved in a six-woman tag team match, partnering Natalya and Bayley to take on The Riott Squad. Yet, in recent times, Bayley and Banks have been locked in a bitter feud, with the pair going to war inside of Hell in a Cell just a few weeks ago.

Discussing her rival and the match which saw Banks claim the SmackDown Women's Championship for the very first time, the star said:

"I am extremely happy with the Hell in a Cell match. Bayley is absolutely my favourite opponent of all time and it went just exactly how I wanted. To have that Hell in a Cell with her was incredible. I love that match and I loved the outcome of the match."

Away from the ring, Banks has recently appeared in Disney Plus' Star Wars series The Mandalorian as Kosha Reeves, adding a role in a hit TV show to an already impressive looking 2020 for "The Boss".

Now her rivalry with Bayley is seemingly over for the time being, what does the rest of the year have in store for Banks? If recent episodes of SmackDown are anything to go by, a returning Carmella could be the champ's latest challenger.
