WWE is still in that sugary sweet honeymoon period post-WrestleMania 40. Sure, the 2024 Draft was akin to Triple H coming out on stage and announcing that most of his major players are staying put on shows they're already on, but don't let that dampen spirits. No, let this article do that for you instead.

Clue's in the name, people: "Nightmares"!

This isn't some back-patting, high-fiving, fun-filled ride through the best that'll happen at Backlash over in France. Instead, it's a look at everything that could go pear shaped for WWE during their latest international jaunt, as well as for big time stars like Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Jade Cargill, Sami Zayn and even CM Punk.

Will this be a night Cody looks back on and wonders what might've been? Hopefully not, but hope is in short supply within. You know what you're getting in for by now - this is the absolute dirt worst that could happen in WWE circles over in Lyon.

Forced title changes, forced title vacations, and inexperience biting when it matters most? Yikes! All of this is a quite horrendous thought.

10. Inexperience Costs Jade Cargill

Drive past your local bookies to see a long line of people putting a few quid on Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill winning the Women's Tag-Team Titles. OK, maybe not, but most wrestling fans agree the superhero-like duo will get the job done over in France and supplant division saviours Asuka and Kairi Sane before posing with the belts.

What if WWE sees that outcome as "too obvious"? What if they fancy putting Jade up against it early to see how fans react to her living some adversity? It's certainly not impossible that she slips on the proverbial rookie banana skin in France and ends up costing Bianca the chance to score more gold.

It'd be a bit naff if that happened.

Every worker has to learn to bounce back from defeat at some point, but it feels too soon for Cargill. Besides, her whole thing right now is being a jacked-up force to be reckoned with who barely has any weaknesses. Exposing her inexperience for the sake of a quick split story with Belair would be foolish.
