Action Comics #25

By Matt Grazel /

Action Comics #25 is the first issue by the new creative team of writer Greg Pak and artist Aaron Kuder. In Pak and Kuder's first issue, Clark Kent is getting accustomed to his life as both Superman and as a writer of the newspaper, The Daily Star. Clark Kent's friend, Lana Lang, is adapting to her job as an electrical engineer. In Metropolis, Superman battles and defeats the Supremacists. It is always unique to see the inexperienced Superman wear a t-shirt and jeans as his attire. While watching the news, Clark finds out that a hurricane is going to effect Gotham City. Superman tries to stop the hurricane while Lana is on a boat in Gotham in the middle of the storm. Superman is not able to stop the hurricane and learns from the experience. Even though they are full of hope, Superman and Lana learn that they each have their limits. Due to their individual acts of heroism, Superman and Lana are able to prevent the hurricane from causing any further damage to Gotham. Pak and Kuder's first issue of Action Comics is a success and a refreshing change in a Superman comic with a young Clark Kent being featured along with Lana Lang. Action Comics #25 by Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder is available now.
