I, Madman was a great little gem I discovered in 1989 and upon its release, it easily became a personal favorite of mine. However, as good as it is, the plot is well over the top and talk about absurdity: Virginia (Jenny Wright) is an avid book reader and discovering Malcolm Brand's books (Randall William Cook), she starts to begin experiencing the actual events of the book. I've heard of doing whatever it takes to impress a girl but this is ridiculous. Brand cuts off his facial features and starts to reconfigure his face based on various traits and characteristics of people Virginia either knows or admires... a great film but absolutely crazy and over the top.
