It goes without saying that any movie that involves a lot of stunts will have a higher danger factor than any others and given the inherently close relationship between spectacle and the comic book movie genre, there are more stunts and more opportunities for disaster.
Deadpool 2's production was just halted after the tragic death of a stunt performer, and while not every on-set accident has led to death, there are a number of comic book movie productions that have been derailed somewhat by injury to principle players.
Even with increased call for dangerous effects and stunt work and the rise of a satellite industry designed to protect those who work in those conditions and improvements in the technology, such terrible accidents can still occur, threatening the lives of actors and grinding productions to an expensive halt.
