Why it might be better if a certain galaxy stayed far, far away...

First things first: the new Star Wars film due to be released on December 18, 2015 is probably the most anticipated movie of all time, having taken that title from the previous owner, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and we all know how that turned out. Fans had been waiting sixteen years after Return of the Jedi for the continuation of the saga they cherished dearly, and were severely underwhelmed by what they got in return for their patience. Some would argue that it's hard for people to get enthusiastic about a new Star Wars trilogy after such a tremendous disappointment, and only(!) a decade after the last theatrical release of a movie in Revenge of the Sith. But we'd say that this series of films is the one audiences have truly been waiting for - a continuation of the saga that reveals what happened to the Rebellion and the Empire after the Battle of Endor - and, as such, has much more riding on it. Though cast and crew details have been readily supplied (though not in such minute detail as some fans would like), there's been no official indication of what the story will entail or who the main focus of the story will be, and we're all crossing our fingers to ensure that we don't get hurt again like last time. Though, after Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012, George Lucas' abdication from the throne of Star Wars stewardship and the appointment of the somewhat inconsistent JJ Abrams as its new captain, there are a lot of elements in the mix that could lead to disaster. Here are just a few of the things that could mean trouble for our beloved galaxy far, far away...
