10 Over-Looked Positives Of Interstellar
Nitpicking doesn't transcend time and space.
many have described it as Nolan's weakest, complete with the trademark ambition but not the entertainment value or satisfying storytelling weve come to expect from the director. But while Interstellar is a deeply flawed film, and one that did divide viewers, most critics at least agreed upon certain things. For instance, theres the powerful performance by Matthew McConaughey in the lead role, the sheer emotive power of what must be Nolan's most personal film, and the majesty of the visual effects, with the sequence depicting the Endurance's journey through the wormhole in particular drawing praise. Interstellar has rightly been celebrated for these things, but while those are certainly some of the most obvious plus points, they're not the be-all and end-all. Nolans movie is a dense, 169-minute behemoth, full of hard science and myriad characters big and small. It's an epic science fiction extravaganza. Attempting to tackle the entirety of the movie, therefore - positives, negatives and all - is inevitably going to prove difficult.
