10 Movies Quentin Tarantino Should Make Instead Of The Hateful Eight

Tarantino said he's "got 10 more where that came from". We know which ten most interest us...

The devastating news broke yesterday that Quentin Tarantino would be shelving his highly anticipated western The Hateful Eight due to the script being leaked by one of about half a dozen people who have actually read it, with the prime suspects being one of the agents of either Michael Madsen or Bruce Dern. Tarantino flew into a rage, and has since stated that the project will be mothballed, with the script instead being released as a published screenplay. QT curtly added that he's "got 10 more where that came from". Childish though it seems for a director to punish millions of viewers for one person's crime, the film is dead in the water, and there's nothing we can do about it. So, what should Tarantino be moving forward with next? Though the director may simply proceed with a new idea, he has famously attached to himself to countless projects over the years, such that he could easily cherry-pick any one of those ideas and probably get a hit movie out of it. Granted, some of the ideas just wouldn't work, like a prequel depicting the Vega Brothers that would tie Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs together (simply because Michael Madsen and John Travolta are too old now), and a remake of Russ Meyer's Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! apparently starring Britney Spears, but there are plenty that absolutely would work, or certainly get butts in seats at the very least. Feel free to throw in your own Tarantino fantasy films in the comments!
