10 Quentin Tarantino Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie

Accept no substitutes.

Given Hollywood€™s penchant for spinning off material from films that weren€™t that great to begin with, it can only be a matter of time before they run out of turkeys and set their sights on award-calibre pictures. When they do, attention is likely to fall on Quentin Tarantino, who over the course of his career has created a rogue€™s gallery of characters that€™s the envy of most novelists, never mind screenwriters. Almost any one of them could step into their own movie. Even the supporting characters have interesting backstories: Lee Donowitz, the scumbag movie producer from True Romance (who was in no way based on Oliver Stone), is the son of Sergeant Donnie Donowitz, the €œBear Jew€ from Inglourious Basterds. That film€™s protagonist, Lieutenant Aldo Raine, must also be related to Floyd, the pothead roommate from True Romance, since Brad Pitt plays both characters. In a recent interview, Tarantino claimed he currently has 4 projects in development, which according to the rumour mill include Kill Bill 3 and a remake of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill Kill. Sequels and reboots don€™t usually appeal to the filmmaker, however, so such talk is best taken with a pinch of salt. While he makes up his mind, here are 10 characters he could bring back.
