10 Ridiculous Captain America: Civil War Rumours We Hope Aren't True
You didn't see that coming.
We're mere days away from the hugely-hyped release of Captain America: Civil War, and the almost universally positive reviews are steadily rolling in.
Thankfully critics have for the most part kept spoilers to a minimum, so even as word about the movie spreads online, it's still easy enough to avoid spoilers and consider the huge surprises it could have in store.
Superhero movies stoke the fires of the rumour mill like nothing else, and there are few that have been as discussed as Civil War. From the fate of iconic heroes to the real identities of certain supporting players and everything in between, everyone and their mother has a theory about what might happen, though most of them aren't quite as absurd as this following ten.
That's not to say that some of these rumours may not end up being true (after all, there's no smoke without a superhero-caused fire), but at the same time, we'll be taking them with a grain of salt until we're sat down in the cinema to see for ourselves.
10. She-Hulk Is In It
The Rumour: We know that The Hulk won't appear in Civil War after his departure to parts unknown in Age of Ultron, and the next time we'll see him will be in Thor: Ragnarok. However, one of the more out-there rumours has suggested that he might be replaced by Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk for the movie.
How Likely Is It?: Most of the "evidence" that She-Hulk will appear stems from her having appeared in the Civil War comic, and considering how the MCU is certainly wanting for strong female characters, she would undeniably be a potent addition to the line-up.
Ultimately, though, there's not been a single credible link beyond wishful thinking, and just randomly throwing a female Hulk into the mix would probably seem both silly and forced. If they wanted to introduce She-Hulk, it would probably make sense to bring Walters in a movie or two before the transformation takes place. 2/10
