It's an exciting time to be a comic book fan, because never before have there been so many big Hollywood studios pumping so much cash into getting your favourite characters on the big screen. Even so, it's a tough business, and the road to DC establishing their own Marvel-esque cinematic universe hasn't been an easy one. With just one film down and at least ten to go, there's a bumpy, unsure road ahead, rife with countless potential problems which might hold the "DCCU" back from true greatness. Is Aquaman destined to be a cinematic laughing stock? Will audiences ever accept a new Joker? These questions and many more hang over Warner's head as they move forward: here are 11 huge issues that just might ruin the DC Cinematic Universe (or whatever they eventually call it...)
