12 MCU Mistakes Thor: Ragnarok Must Avoid

Thor: Ragnarok's release is fast approaching, and though some early screenings reports have found their way online, it's always best to read these hot takes with a pinch of salt, especially when they're so effusively positive (as they always are).

Still, these opinions combined with the film's generally terrific marketing certainly suggest that Ragnarok should at least be another enjoyable Marvel romp, even if it remains to be seen whether or not director Taika Waititi can avoid the Marvel Cinematic Universe's litany of nagging issues.

The Kiwi filmmaker will be powerless to fix many of the problems for sure, but there's still genuine hope that a filmmaker as smart as him can at least push back against Marvel Studios a little and challenge their more formulaic demands.

While it's likely that Ragnarok's still going to be subject to at least a few of these pervasive MCU issues, Waititi will hopefully also find some creative ways to subvert and dance around the more eye-rolling aspects of the universe...
