Avengers: Age Of Ultron is finally out in the wild pretty much everywhere now, and Marvel fans have been rabidly dissecting every frame of its 141-minute run-time. As fun as the movie is, however, the consensus seems to be that Joss Whedon made a number of mistakes at the scripting stage which held the film back from being a classic on par with the original. He's not the only guilty party, though: the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole, while no doubt a staggeringly impressive, ambitious enterprise, is rife with flaws which restrict it from further excellence. Hopefully with Phase Three, which will build towards The Avengers facing Thanos in the Infinity War saga, some of these issues, some challenging, others head-smackingly simple to fix, can be rectified and do every fan a favour. From potential logistical issues in Civil War to the sheer number of new, largely unknown characters that need to be introduced later on, not to mention glaring tonal issues which may flare up as Thanos rears his giant purple head, there are plenty of potential missteps for Phase Three, and hopefully those working on upcoming MCU movies will have paid close attention to the franchise's weak points to date, and adjusted accordingly.
