Given the vast number of on-screen deaths film fans have seen over the years, you might think filmmakers would have run out of new disgusting ways to dispatch their characters. Short of making an actual snuff movie, any method of death you care to think of has probably been faked, filmed and projected. With the boundaries of good taste constantly shifting, on-screen violence which was once out of the question becomes permissible, a fact that more than a few directors are happy to take advantage of.
