But what about those scenes so mind-blowingly weird you're not sure whether they're actually good or not? Whether intentional or by accident, these 25 scenes from the last year had audiences unsure of quite what they'd just seen, maybe even making them say out loud: "What the f***!?"

From some of the craziest shenanigans yet to occur in Marvel movies to some of the utter nonsense DC fans had to contend with and everything in-between, these moments are for sure the major talking points of their respective movies, good or bad.

It's an hilariously low-fi solution to a huge problem, and while some might dismiss it as too silly (Trekkies can be a fickle bunch), it's a totally bada** moment thanks to use of not just a great song, but a song that has quite the history in the rebooted Trek franchise (as young Kirk favoured it in the first film's flashback sequence).

Still, very, very weird.
