Welcome cinephiles, to the one and only WhatCulture.com News Brief, where we bring you the biggest movie and television news, week after week. Things in Tinseltown slowed down a bit this week, so we'll actually only have seven stories to talk about instead of the usual ten. However, they offer plenty for us to dissect, and we've got a handful of honourable mentions to hold us over. There was a surprising amount of television news this week, as we heard casting updates for Arrow season 3, news about Constantine's smoking habit and the triumphant return of BBC's Sherlock, as well as the huge news that Community has, once again, risen from the ashes and found new life. Before we revisit our favorite Greendale Community College students or dive into Neil Gaiman's American Gods adaptation, let's take a look at some of the smaller stories that caught our attention this past week:
