Despite the collective tears of the movie-going community, Hugh Jackman's stint as the Wolverine will soon be coming to an end. By that point, it'll be a whopping 17 years that the guy has been playing everyone's favourite blade-wielding maniac, and it'll truly be a shame to see him hang up the claws. And yet, it all feels like it's just beginning. Recent rumors all point to a blood-drenched final solo outing for the character, and that's extremely exciting. Wolverine has been a great part of the X-Men saga thus far, but his action scenes can feel a little... tame. This guy is ripping people to shreds with his claws, and yet there's not a drop of blood?! Fortunately, this third Wolverine adventure is all but confirmed to be rated R - or 15, for us Brits. The recent mega success of Deadpool proved there's an appetite for adult superheroes, and Wolverine is a character that could comfortably fit a more mature framework.
