Majel Barrett Roddenberry has been part of Star Trek since the first pilot "The Cage" where she played Number One. Although that role was not carried over to the main series, she did get a recurring role on the show as Nurse Chapel and also played Deanna Trois mother Lwaxana Troi on The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. She also provided voice work as Federation and ship computers for all five Trek series and four feature films.Along with Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock, she has been with TREK since the beginning.
The movie is likely to be in very late post-production (final touches) and we should see a heavy marketing campaign for the movie come the New Year. This is a STAR TREK movie that Paramount NEED people to know about.
