Deadline reports that before Amy Adams plays the future Pulitzer Prize award winning journalist Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot Man of Steel, she will be married to The Master in Paul Thomas Anderson's religious cult takedown film that shoots in a matter of weeks. Adams takes on the Mary-Sue part I erroneously guessed was Laura Dern's after her casting yesterday but seems not. Reese Witherspoon had been cast in the role when the film was a go-project last year but Adams is at least two leagues above her in the acting stakes and is coming off her fabulous turn in The Fighter. Swedish actress Lena Endre is also a new addition. I wrote much more about the film yesterday and seems silly to repeat. Filming begins June 13th.
