Just days after the casting of Nicole Kidman, comes the news that another actress has been signed on to appear in the fantasy film "The Golden Compass". Eva Green who will be next seen in Casino Royale as Vesper Lynd has been cast as queen witch Serafina Pekula in the first of three movies based on the novel trilogy "His Dark Materials". Filming is schedueld to start on September 4th with a tentative release date of November 2007. Source - Variety
