Ant-Man: 8 Moments From The Trailer Tease You Need To See

The first look at Marvel's tiny hero.

Ant-Man hasn't had the easiest journey to the screen. A founding member of The Avengers with a strong comic-book legacy, his objectively silly powers (he can change his size) have meant a film adaptation has languished in pre-production since 2006. And then last year, just as things looked to be getting off the ground, long-attached director Edgar Wright left the project, throwing the whole thing into disarray. But now the shots have been called under the watchful eye of Peyton Reed, the special effects have begun and a trailer is set to be unveiled on Tuesday, during the series premiere of Captan America/Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off Agent Carter. Whether it'll please the sceptics remains to be seen, but at the very least it's a new Marvel trailer, which is cause enough for excitement. Ahead of the trailer proper, Marvel have released online a couple of short teases to whet appetites. The now almost tradition of releasing short previews ahead of teaser trailer always seems rather cynical, playing with fans rather than giving anything of actual worth. This time around, however, Marvel have done something a little bit more novel, releasing an 'Ant-Sized' tease that took up only a small part of the screen, getting in the spirit of the comic-book hero. Now the 'Human-Sized' (read: normal sized) tease has been released, and the visuals can be properly seen, here's a dissection of the short-but-sweet seventeen seconds in anticipation of the full two-and-a-half minutes on Tuesday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ent7BoDR1yE
