ATLAS SHRUGGED to shoot in the fall
Angelina Jolie still committed to the adaptation of the epic 645,000 word novel.
We've heard zip about Vadim Perelman's adaptation of one of the world's longest novels Atlas Shrugged since September and finally the news has leaked as to why, thanks to Coming Soon. Perelman has been busy polishing the script and is now working on re-writes. You might think this has taken him a while to do but remember the WGA strike ate up at least three months of his time and the fact that the original text is some 645,000 words long.

Lionsgate say they want the film prepped ready for a December shoot and that Angelina Jolie is still very much committed to starring in the project. Indeed, it's been the actress who has been spearheading the film this far down the road. Anyone ever even attempted to read the novel? Trying to give you a brief synopsis would probably be futile, so instead I shall guide you to it's extensive WIKI entry. Perelman's next movie The Life Before Her Eyes starring Uma Thurman opens next Friday. You can see that trailer HERE.
