As reshoots for Avengers 4 continue in Atlanta, it was always going to be the case that a few leaks would make their way into the public eye. Blurry images of concept art showing the new team emerged a few months ago, before being followed by hi-res looks at Captain America, Captain Marvel, Hulk and more. Now, however, a brand new photo has emerged, showcasing Chris Evans' Steve Rogers in a new uniform.

Yes, fans may begin to mourn the beard now, but there are positives to take away from this new look. For starters, the costume borrows heavily from Cap's iconic classic outfit, with chainmail-like material covering the top half of the suit, and an Avengers logo once again adorning his shoulder. So too has the helmet returned, confirming what many had suspected already - that being Cap will ditch his Nomad identity in order to join up with the actual Avengers once again.

The images are circulating across Twitter, and though they're not quite HD, the costume looks just like the one shown off in concept art, albeit with the addition of a helmet.

As far as Cap looks go, it's definitely up there with the best, and while it may be slightly upsetting that we've had to wave goodbye to the beard so soon, the return to a more traditional-looking Cap lends itself well to Avengers 4, which is set to see the original team come together to correct Thanos' snap. How could Steve possibly do that without first becoming the star spangled man with a plan?
