Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scene Reveals Happy Hogan WAS In The Movie
And he's still being driven crazy.
With Avengers: Infinity War being available for digital download and getting its home release very soon, a number of details are being revealed about the movie, including what we DIDN'T get to see.
While the deleted scenes haven't made their way online yet, details about them have, and one reveals that fan-favourite supporting character Happy Hogan did have a cameo in the movie after all. It was expected he'd be in it after set photos showed Jon Favreau with Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow, but when he didn't turn up it was assumed he'd be in Avengers 4 instead.
That may still happen, but his scene in Infinity War involved those two as well. It comes in the scene where Tony and Pepper are discussing the former's dream about having a baby, which then turns to talk of their fake wedding date, which is when Happy pulls up in a golf cart, telling them (h/t ComicBook.com):
"You two should just elope. Because this media circus that's going on is driving me crazy! This is me on edge because I'm trying to keep all the pictures out of the paper and off the Internet so your wedding's not ruined. Just remember that kid from TMZ that you had me trade paint with on the FDR Drive? Well, I got a case against me now!"
Happy then rushes off to stop a paparazzi, and the scene then probably plays out as it does in the movie with the arrival of Doctor Strange and Bruce Banner.
