Avengers: Infinity War is shaping up to be a superhero movie on a scale we've never seen before, bringing together various strands of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and paying off on years of storylines and foreshadowing.

One of the exciting aspects is the prospect of the Guardians of the Galaxy joining forces with the Avengers, and coming with that is the arrival of Nebula on Earth. The long-suffering child of Thanos, that father-daughter relationship is one of the many intriguing subplots of the movie, and actress Karen Gillan has confirmed it will be addressed in the film. Speaking to Den of Geek, she said:

“I’ve been sworn to secrecy. But I definitely think that all of what we’ve been building towards, with all the backstories between Nebula and Thanos, is definitely going to come to a head in the Avengers film, and she’s definitely going to confront all of those traumatic memories. I definitely think she is going to have her moment.”

It's something that's been building for a while, with Nebula taking on an increased role in Guardians 2, so it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out during Infinity War.

Gillan also spoke about the filming schedule of Avengers 3 and 4, which the Russos are shooting back-to-back. To that end, she also confirmed that the movie will undergo reshoots next year, saying:

"So, this is the longest shoot in the world. It’s been going since January, and it goes right up until December. And then it goes into reshoots - like immediate, more additional photography - next year. So it’s like an ongoing thing."

Reshoots are nothing unusual for a major blockbuster, though there have been some more high-profile cases in recent years - such as Rogue One and Justice League - but with them already planned it sounds like more routine touch-ups.
