Avengers: Infinity War Trailer - 12 Huge Questions We're Left With
Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.
By now, the question isn't whether or not you've watched the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, but just how many times you've sat through it already?
After months of waiting and serious anticipation - not helped by the fact the footage was shown at both D-23 Expo and SDCC but withheld from the general public - the trailer finally arrived yesterday, and brought us a wonderful first tease of next year's superhero spectacular.
The trailer did a great job of setting things up, with the use of the Avengers Theme and general tone of the footage helping to sell that this really is a comic book movie with actual stakes. Most of the heroes got a moment, from the return of Cap to Spidey getting a beat down, the Science Bros team-up and major events on Wakanda, and most importantly it fully introduced Thanos and the Infinity Stones.
While there were hints of plot and some revealing shots, the trailer is more of a general hype-builder and mood-setter rather than anything overly spoilerific. It doesn't tell us too much we didn't already know, and leaves a number of huge questions behind instead.
