Producer Frank Marshall (whose CV includes all of the Back to the Future films, Indiana Jones, Bourne films, The Goonies... I could continue for a long time) has been a bit of a tease recently by announcing on twitter that something massive was about to go down in the world of Back to the Future;
"Something big is coming soon. Can't say anything yet. No one should know too much about their own destiny. #BTTF"
Of course without much surprise the original gossip based on this tweet were of people obsessed with the idea that Marshall was eluding to a prequel/sequel/reboot of the BTTF franchise but I can safely announce that this is not the case thanks to the release of the following video found by sneaker blog Nice Kicks;This is completely genuine and will have almost every single fan of the franchise frothing at the mouth. The Nike Air Mag, the self lacing shoes seen in Back to the Future Part 2 that Marty McFly himself doesn't get a hold of until October 21st, 2015 - are actually going to be released into the world. Nike patented the self lacing design sometime within the last 18 months and it seems as if the shoes are ready to be released. So it seems as if the Back to the Future films actually got something right, albeit a little early and by 2015 we will have self lacing shoes and I for one cannot wait. What are your reactions? Have you been waiting for these for the last twenty two years???? Comments Below!
