Batman V Superman Viral Marketing - Lex Luthor References Suicide Squad

Plus, discover Lex's thoughts on Batman.

Warner Bros. have gifted Wired with a little viral marketing piece in the form of a faux-interview featuring Lex Luthor himself. The writing is strong, and seemingly very in-keeping with what we've seen of Jesse Eisenberg's rendition of Lex so far. There are some nuggets of information sprinkled throughout, including a thinly-veiled reference to Task Force X, aka the Suicide Squad, and Luthor's thoughts on Batman himself.
"Any objective analyst will tell you that his brand of justice, vigilantism, is painfully outmoded, designed to be effective in an age when... crime carried knives. The most dangerous guy on the street worked in the shadows because he was cowardly and superstitious... You want to clean up the streets? Dress up like the boogeyman, switch on a fog machine and lower your voice."
Clearly, Lex is not a fan, his distaste coming from a self-prescribed sense of superior intelligence. He's most likely in for a rude awakening when his plan is figured out and Bats comes knocking for him with his new justice-obsessed friends. The other solid snippet is the aforementioned Suicide Squad reference, which perhaps implies that Lex will make an appearance within that film next August;
"I€™m ready to sit down with whatever task force the government has assembled €” in the interest of sharing intelligence and building solutions together. If she€ they€ Argus€ the government, whatever you want to call it, has a real interest in fighting for the future, they ought to work with those of us who are already on the front lines."
Any DC fan worth their salt will know that 'she' refers to Amanda Waller (to be played by Viola Davis), and 'Argus' is the governmental agency responsible for the creation of Task Force X. The universe is coming together! Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is released on 25th March 2016, whilst Suicide Squad is due out on 5 August.
