The Black Panther cast just keeps getting bigger.

According to actress and musician Nabiyah Be - who was briefly spotted in the Black Panther trailer alongside Erik Killmonger as they seemingly sought to break Ulysses Klaue out of captivity - she's playing a classic Panther villain. She is set to play Marvel villain Nightshade, or at least her alter-ego Tilda Johnson:

As fans of the comics will be aware, Nightshade is a great villain, who first appeared in 1973 (in Captain America #164) with a super serum that would transform convicts into werewolves. Now, whether that actually happens in the MCU is a different matter, but it would be a hell of a swerve for future Black Panther sequels.

She's another tech-loving genius - like T'Challa and Shuri - who is a native of New York (which is presumably where she meets the initially exiled Killmonger).

It's probably a little unlikely that we'll see her original backstory introduced, since Marvel have a habit of reusing more minor characters for the MCU, but it's a nice little nod to the character, all the same.

And if you aren't excited about the possibility of werewolves, there's no hope for you...
