Columbia Pictures have confirmed that the next James Bond movie after Casino Royale will be released in Nov. 7th 2008 rather than the originally scheduled May 22nd 2008. Sony Pictures Entertainment vice chairman Jeff Blake said to The Hollywood Reporter... "Eighteen months was a very short window," Blake said. "We're going to stay the course." Sensible really. The usual time between Bond films is two years so it makes sense not to rush it. I always felt like the movies with Pierce Brosnan were always rushed out, and if they had given themselves maybe six months to a year more preperation time on the story, they would have turned out a lot better. Still no word on who is to direct the picture, but Daniel Craig will of course be back as the world's most famous spy. source - hollywood reporter
