Still just keep swimming.

Pixar have released a new trailer for Finding Dory, and in typical Emeryville fashion it promises us another emotional journey.

The new look at the sequel, which comes 13 years after Finding Nemo introduced us to these characters, was released by The Ellen Show on YouTube (which makes sense, given DeGeneres is the star), and gives further hints to the plot of the film, as well as promising Dory's origin story.

We see her as a young fish being separated from her parents due to her long-term memory loss, meaning she's been searching for her family most of her life.

While young Dory runs into a pair of fish voiced by Kate McKinnon and Bill Hader, adult Dory is separated from Marlin and Nemo and taken to a Marine Life Institute, aka a "fish hospital."

Although there a plenty of familiar fish around here, not least the central three from the first film, there are new additions as well, with the standouts including two sea lions voiced by Idris Elba and Dominic West. There are plenty of nods to the original film, including the repeat of Dory's iconic "just keep swimming" line, and it's still hard to shake the feeling that this is a cash-grab, given it comes so long after the first film and that there didn't appear a necessity for this story to be told.

At the same time, though, it's a cash-grab that will probably make you cry.
