In their latest set of posters, Mondo are celebrating two iconic episodes from the original Star Trek series - the classic episode Mirror, Mirror (one of the many parallel universe Trek scenarios, this one being the most memorable with an evil goatee wearing Spock!) and the two part episode The Menagerie, which rather ingeniously used footage from the original Trek pilot episode The Cage that featured Jeffrey Hunter as Enterprise Captain Christopher Pike (William Shatner's Kirk was used instead when it came to shoot the series) to make a cerebral episode out of it. Mondo's posters celebrating both episodes are wildly different. Mirror Mirror has a crazy colourful scheme whilst The Menagerie is much more standard and less busy film poster, with the aliens of the movie at the forefront. See them both in full below; Mirror Mirror is 24 x 36 and is created by Tomer Hanuka. 175 are printed, costing $45. The Menagerie is 24 x 36. Designed by Mike Saputo. 125 copies printed priced at $45. Both these posters will go on sale tomorrow (Thursday 18th) and you really need to follow the Mondo twitter to find out exactly when. I like both posters a great deal though The Menagerie is easily my favourite f the two. Any chance you Mondo guys could make one for The Enemy Within, the great Richard Matheson episode that is probably my favourite of the original crew?
