Deadpool 2: Secret X-Men Cameo Confirmed?
He's the special guest star, b*tch.
It looks like Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Deadpool aren't the only X-Men (or X-Men tryouts at least, if the rumours are to be believed) to be involved in Deadpool 2.
Thanks to new evidence from the film's soundtrack - as posted by Slashfilm - there's a suggestion that we might also be getting an appearance by sometime X-Men member and traditional mutant villain Juggernaut - otherwise known as Cain Marko.
The hint comes courtesy of track "You Can't Stop This Mother F*****" - an allusion to Juggernaut's unstoppable powers, and one specific line:
You can’t stop him. He’s the Juggernaut. You can’t stop this mother f*****.
He's been teased already, but this seems like a much more concrete suggestion of the villain's involvement than the brief glimpses of a character looking a bit like him in the trailers.
And it's good news too, because it's about time we got a cinematic version of the character to wipe out the war crimes of Vinnie Jones' version from X-Men: The Last Stand. Let's just hope someone slightly better equipped is in line to play him... And that Ryan Reynolds uses every opportunity to remind Fox of the last time the character was on-screen.
