The long gestured film based on the sci-fi series John Carter of Mars has once again found itself at the hands of a new studio. Disney have optioned the rights of the franchise after Paramount's deal had expired. AICN news also report that Jon Favreau and their very own Harry Knowles are no longer involved with the project... Well it's good to see something happening with the movie but the fact that's it's Disney who are optioning the rights, has to leave you a little worried about them possibly vying for a young audience.
