Eli Roth enjoyed directing his faux Grindhouse trailer so much, he plans to helm a movie that is full of them! The film will be called Trailer Trash and somehow Roth believes he can make the trailers all work in a cohesive narrative strand, despite them all dealing with different genres. He also claims he has spoken to Edgar Wright, Robert Rodriguez and even Greg Nicotero (who wants to do a zombie trailer) about having their own segments. Awesome. You have to ask though, is this guy crazy or what? He has just seen Grindhouse become the biggest turkey of the year at the Box Office, and now he thinks by doing something even wackier and totally "out there" he can make a movie that's financially successful. That being said, I admire his ambition and although there is no way in hell it would work... I love to see him have a go at it. Those wanting originality in Hollywood need look no further. The news comes from an interview with Roth that Collider had with him (found through Bloody Disgusting) and if you CLICK HERE, you can watch it for yourselves. As well as revealing Trailer Trash, he talks a little about his adaptation of Stephen King'sCell (he is perfect for that), Hostel: Part II and also his thoughts on why Grindhouse failed.
