First 10 minutes of SEX DRIVE online, this decade's AMERICAN PIE?
I've been sent a ton of promotional material for the teen comedy SEX DRIVE released in the U.S. today over the last few weeks but I've just ignored all of them because I figured, any movie with that title won't be good... right? Well my ignorance has once again got the better of me because today I actually decided to sit down and watch the first ten minutes of the film that has premiered online and it's awesome. I just get a great feeling of AMERICAN PIE from it, a movie that knows exactly where it's coming from, who it's target audience is and has some quick firing and clever dialogue. Co-written and directed by Sean Anders, the movie follows Josh Zuckerman as a high school senior who drives cross-country with his best friends to hook up with a babe he met online. James Marsden (finally in a different kind of role for jim) and Seth Green are among the supporting players. You can see the first ten minutes below, though be warned it's NSFW...
