JJ Abrams may have subtly revealed the first look image of The Klingons from "Star Trek 2" during Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards. During the skit, Abrams can be seen next to a monitor, supposedly busy on post-production work on his sequel when a Klingon can be seen on the monitor. The look of the Klingon is exactly how Abrams was going to present the famous Trek race in his first movie but decided to cut out the scenes he shot, however you can watch the scenes as deleted extras on the home video release. Abrams once again is using a mask and helmet to cover the face of The Klingons, keeping the big reveal of what they look like in Abrams' new alternative universe a secret for now. Hitfix are reporting that Abrams revealing The Klingons in this way was not an accident and seems to have it confirmed with Paramount but can we be 100% sure the image actually comes from the new movie and isn't just a deleted extra from the first movie? If you watch the gag below he talks about having to remove a Klingon sub-plot which could be a gag referring to the 2009 movie. Get More: MTV Shows

Though MTV also seems to believe this is the first reveal of The Klingons in "Star Trek 2", their appearance fully expected by many after they cut from the first movie and such an iconic part of Trek lore.
