Get Hyped: Marvel Just Released First Look At Avengers: Infinity War
Want chills? Watch this...
With filming now firmly happening and at least a year-long production stretching ahead of the next Avengers projects, Marvel have just released a first look teaser at Avengers: Infinity War.
As hype videos go, it's a great one, so let's hope the world doesn't all fall apart in the mean time...
There's lots of information in there, even for just an exercise in hype-building. Some nice concept artwork shows off new alliances, there's a tease of some weird, otherworldly sets and there's a nice look at Thanos relaxing in his vest for some reason. Good to see he likes to kick back after a hard day smashing planets.
That tease of Red Skull is incredibly exciting if you're choosing to get wildly over-excited about it (they could have just showed the Tesseract, rather than the character with who first wielded it, after all).
Marvel supremo Kevin Feige also revealed why they chose to do Civil War before Infinity War:
“How do you do that in a way that’s unexpected that pits the Avengers, [who are] more powerful than anyone they’ve ever faced and yet make them completely unprepared to face him? Well, tear them apart... That’s why we did Civil War before.”
Who doesn't want to see Star-Lord, Iron Man and Spider-Man as a threesome? Or watch wise-cracking Rocket Raccoon make an alliance with super straight Thor? It's all terribly exciting.
