You must never break the chain!

Just when you thought Marvel couldn't possibly deliver on the promise of a sequel to Guardians Of The Galaxy that could be more insane, more obscure and more cool than the original, they release a 60 second teaser that once again gets us all massively excited again.

Once more, the musical choice is brilliant, with the use of Fleetwood Mac's seminal The Chain (a narratively brilliant song, given how it builds and pays off), and the teaser offers lots of new footage and first looks at both Ayesha and Taserface. If that wasn't enough, there's a boatload of action teased in there and it definitely looks like this is going to be a breathless actioner that seems to be promising even more full-blooded sci-fi action.

It's all looking very exciting to say the least.

Marvel also released a new poster to celebrate the new teaser. It's a keeper...

Here's everything we saw in the brand new spot...

21. The New Marvel Logo

Not a major thing of course, but it's nice to see a variation on the usual red title screen...

20. Ayesha's Palace

The tease opens with one of the characters we haven't yet seen, Elizabeth Debicki's Ayesha, the supremely powerful figure created in the comics by the Enclave as their second attempt to make a perfect human-like being. Interestingly, of course (considering the rumours of Peter Dinklage playing Pip the Troll, the first attempt eventually created Adam Warlock).

As if her power wasn't already clear, this set-up definitely suggests she's a ruling figure, and that amount of gold and grandeur certainly doesn't make her look like a nice one.

The studio also released a better look at her throne and personal guard...

How very Star Wars Prequel Trilogy.
