With talk of origin movies for both Nick Fury and Hawkeye in the pipeline it was easy to assume that a reboot of The Incredible Hulk's backstory would also be on the agenda. In fact, Mark Ruffalo recently spoke about his desire to be involved in a new movie featuring the Incredible Hulk, once the dust has settled from The Avengers movie. However, fans of Marvel's big green smashing machine are likely to be disappointed if they're looking for a solo Avengers spin-off for Bruce Banner's alter ego any time soon. Marvel president Kevin Feige has recently been quoted as saying that there really isn't any need for a third Hulk movie at this stage and that "everything we had we put into Hulk's appearance in Avengers". When pushed for an answer as to whether or not Hulk will return for a sequel to the sure-thing box office smash, Feige played it cool: "Where we go next, we'll see. But we'll be very careful about it and deliberate". So it remains to be seen whether Hulk will be getting another shot at a solo movie or whether Marvel will save him for the team ups. One thing is for sure however, Hulk will be smashing his way on to our screens alongside his fellow Marvel superheroes on April 26th when Avengers is released to a mass audience.
