Jon Favreau's Star Wars TV Show Will Be Set Between Episodes VI & VII

It was announced a couple of months ago that Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Jungle Book) would be making a live-action Star Wars TV show, and now the writer himself has teased what we can expect.
In an interview with Nerdist, Favreau revealed that his show takes place seven years after the Battle of Endor, which is the timeline Disney now seem to be most keen on exploring.
The period between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens is when the story of video game Battlefront II is set, and it's also been confirmed that Dave Filoni's new animated series will be a prequel to Episode VII.
Favreau's show will feature all new characters and utilise similar technology to The Jungle Book (and presumably The Lion King, which is due to hit next year), although you'd have to expect there'll be some cameos from recognisable faces, especially as this is set to air on Disney's own streaming service. The show is set to hit next year, so more details should be coming out in the next few months.
