Josh Brolin "Blown Away" By Avengers Infinity War Story
Someone's hyped for some Thanos action!
Most people would agree that the MCU has a problem with villains. Apart from a couple of exceptions, the universe has struggled to produce many truly interesting or well-rounded baddies for our heroes to battle.
Fans are hoping that problem will be fixed with the arrival of Thanos.
Played by Josh Brolin, Thanos is set to take on the MCUs full roster of heroes in the upcoming two-part Avengers: Infinity War. Although the Mad Titan was first introduced in a brief post-credit scene in the first Avengers, weve yet to see him in action, so fans are understandably excited. And theyre not the only ones.
Brolin recently spoke to Moviefone about his involvement in the MCU and shared his thoughts on how the Infinity Wars story is shaping up.
These Avengers stories all come down to this conclusion, and that's our involvement. Basically, my character against everybody. And it's really fun what they've chosen to do with the story. I think it's brilliant, personally. I was blown away, and had goose pimples pretty much 50% of the time that I was listening to what was going on, and pretty amazed that I'm going to be involved in it. So it's a big thing that's coming up.
We all knew the Infinity War films would be big, but its interesting to hear that it will apparently be a culmination of the entire universe up until this point. And the fact that Brolin is so excited about how the story is shaping up bodes well for whats to come.
Some fans have been critical of Thanos lack of screen time thus far and his ineffective nature at collecting the Infinity Stones, but with Phase Three officially kicked off, its likely well be seeing him get his hands dirty soon.
Hopefully well be treated with a truly imposing foe for Earths Mightiest Heroes.
